Dear Taste of Stowe Arts Festival participants,

Happy Year of Dragon!
The Dragon is said to bring changes, big ones, and it asks from us for adaptability.

It is a sad year for us, due to logistical issues the Helen Day Art Center will not host the 2012 Taste of Stowe Arts Festival.  The Topnotch event fields are not available for our dates this year, and the Stowe Village events fields are not yet ready to host an event of this scale.  We are contemplating alternatives for 2013 and we will stay in touch.

2012 would have been our 20^th anniversary, in recent years the festival became an anticipated happening for tourists visiting the region; the festival gave the opportunity to its participants to have a show at the HDAC East Gallery ie: Lisa Beach in 2011 and this fall Rory Jackson will have a solo show. In 2011 we enhanced the Fine Art Tent with a curated gallery featuring art by our members, it was a wonderful display of Vermont art.
